A Letter from Eva Li, Little Pilots Inclusive Daycare Teacher: Nurturing Growth and Belonging

As a teacher at Little Pilots Inclusive Daycare, I have the privilege of witnessing firsthand the incredible growth and transformation of the children we care for. At Little Pilots, we foster an environment where children on the autism spectrum learn side by side with their typically developing peers. Our curriculum is tailored to the needs and interests of the children, with family goals in mind. This approach promotes holistic development - social skills, physical skills, independence, literacy, and emotional well-being. Every child is treated as an individual, with their unique strengths nurtured and celebrated. It’s more than academic growth; it’s developing essential life skills that prepare them for the world around them. We also offer flexibility, understanding that every family’s needs are different. Whether children attend full-time or part-time, we accommodate varying schedules, ensuring a personalized experience that works for everyone.

At Little Pilots, we provide props, costumes, and open-ended toys that encourage exploration and imaginative play. We enrich their learning experiences with books, community interactions, and opportunities for discovery. The more they see, the more they grow creatively, and it’s a joy to witness the spark of curiosity in their eyes. But above all, what matters most is the safe and supportive environment we create. We provide a space where children can be themselves, try new things, and gain the confidence they need to grow. It’s a place where they’re encouraged to take their time and develop at their own pace, and I’ve seen them blossom as they build important skills.

Our dedicated team of instructors aren’t just trained in contemporary teaching methods - they’re compassionate experts in behavioral support strategies. Regular supervision and consultations from field professionals ensure our team stays at the forefront of best practices. We pride ourselves on maintaining a high ratio of specialized staff to participants, ensuring each child receives the personalized care they deserve.

If you’re looking for a daycare that promotes inclusion, creativity, and a deep sense of belonging, Little Pilots Inclusive Daycare is the place for your child to soar. However, due to the growing interest in our program, spots are limited. If you’re interested in joining our community, be sure to reach out to us soon to secure a place for your child.
