Meet Eva Li: A Journey of Inclusion and Impact at Little Pilots Inclusive Daycare

Meet Eva Li, the devoted manager of Little Pilots Inclusive Daycare, part of the Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN) in Richmond, BC. From a young age, Eva felt a deep calling toward education. The joy of nurturing young minds and guiding children to reach their full potential has always been her dream.

After obtaining a Bachelor Degree from the University of Victoria (UVIC), an Early Childhood Education (ECE/IT) Certificate and Special Needs Educator Certificate and gaining diverse childcare experience, Eva sought an environment that truly embraced inclusivity. This led her to PAFN in 2023, where she found a community that not only supports but celebrates neurodivergent individuals and families. For Eva, joining PAFN was more than a job – it was a chance to contribute to a cause dedicated to belonging and acceptance.

Before her time at PAFN, Eva’s knowledge of autism and neurodiversity was largely academic. The real transformation occurred when she became an integral part of the PAFN family. Immersed in this community, Eva has gained invaluable insights into what neurodiversity means for families living with it daily. She continues witnessing their strength and learning how to offer better support and upliftment.

Reflecting on her role, Eva is filled with gratitude. Her work at PAFN has not only allowed her to fulfill her lifelong dream of helping others but has also inspired personal growth. The role has deepened her empathy, compassion, and sense of purpose. Eva’s journey is a testament to the idea that by giving of ourselves to others, we grow in ways we never imagined.

To anyone considering supporting PAFN, Eva offers this heartfelt message, “your contribution can truly change lives. It’s not just about financial support; it’s about offering hope, creating opportunities, and helping families feel embraced by their communities. Every donation helps build a world where neurodivergent children are not only included but empowered to thrive. Together, we can create a future where every child and family find their place and their voice.”

As we look ahead, Little Pilots Inclusive Daycare is excited to be welcoming preschool aged children into the daycare with enrollment now open for the 2024/2025 year. If you’re looking for a place that fosters a truly inclusive environment where every child can thrive, we invite you to join our community. At Little Pilots, we’re dedicated to nurturing growth and celebrating every child’s unique journey. Learn more by contacting Eva at eva@pacificautismfamily.com
