Announcing Our New Pacific Autism Family Network Chief Executive Officer

As we embark on this exciting new year, we are thrilled to share some fantastic news with our community. After a thorough search process led by our Board, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Loring Phinney as the new Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Autism Family Network (PAFN). Loring joined our team this past week and will be based out of the PAFN Hub in Richmond, where he will lead our mission of supporting and advocating for neurodiverse individuals and their families.

Loring brings with him over 30 years of experience in communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement across British Columbia. Most recently, Loring served as the VP of Communications & Community at Canucks Sports & Entertainment, and previously spent 14 years with Bell Canada, playing a key role in the creation and execution of the globally recognized Bell Let’s Talk Mental Health Initiative.

Throughout his career, Loring has proven to be a passionate leader who fosters growth and development in the teams he leads - a quality we believe will greatly benefit PAFN as we continue to expand and enhance our services.

Loring’s deep commitment to community is evident in his past volunteer work, including a 10-year term on the United Way Campaign Cabinet, where he also served as the Campaign Co-Chair in 2012.

“I am so excited to lead PAFN’s efforts to create meaningful inclusion for our community,” he says. “We have a remarkable story to tell, and the continued growth of our programs across B.C. will improve the lifespan needs of individuals with autism and related neurodiversities.”

We are confident that together with Loring's leadership we will continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
